Tournament mechanics: why this matters

The most common mistake of beginners is to register for a tournament without reading how points are given. Your chance of a win depends directly on the system the contest uses. Different mechanics need different approaches:

Practical notes for players

So that tournaments bring more than the game itself, keep to a few tested rules:

  1. 1Keep strictly to the minimum stake. If the rules say spins from 5 UAH count, stakes of 4.50 UAH simply bring no points. Always check that limit before you start.
  2. 2Pick the right slots for the task. If the tournament is based on the highest multiplier, choose high-volatility slots from the list. They pay less often, but the size of the multiples is much higher, which is what matters for winning points.
  3. 3Read the leaderboard. Before you spend a bankroll hard in the middle of a tournament, look at the leaders. If the gap of the top 10 is unrealistically large, it may be better to keep the money for the next, fresher contest.
  4. 4Watch the timing. The hardest fight for prize places happens in the last 2–3 hours before the tournament closes. Be ready to open the game and defend your place in the table at the end, if you start being pushed out of the prize zone.
