A hall’s card: what to check before you leave your name

You need the permit date, who holds the licence, and where a payout goes. No line means signing up adds nothing.

A brand and a legal name are different things
The button often carries a short name. The permit carries the company it was issued to. If the card has only a slogan, you are signing up to a picture. Before a name and a card number, it should be clear who answers for the cashier: the full title, not the abbreviation from the banner.
A date should sit beside it. A permit without a date is hard to check when the register line is updated. The date the card on the site was revised is a separate mark. It shows the text has not hung there for years untouched. An old “all rights reserved” line does not stand in for that date.
The third line is money coming back. A payout goes to the deposit card, after an identity check. If the hall’s card promises “any wallet within an hour” and says nothing about the name matching, that is not speed. It is a different scheme from the one a licensed desk keeps.
- Who holds the permit100%
The legal name, not only the brand on the button.
- Date and term80%
When the permit was issued, and whether it is still alive.
- Where the payout goes70%
The same card the deposit came from.
- Where to complain40%
PlayCity and the helpline, not only the hall’s chat.
This is an order of reading, not a ranking of halls. A missing line is not repaired by a handsome banner.

Where to go if the line is missing
The hall’s chat is not a register of permits. It can answer quickly and still not show a licence number. The check goes through the card on the site and through PlayCity’s public trace. If neither is there, there is no reason to leave a document and a card.
Self-exclusion and limits should also be found on that card before play, not after. A ceiling set once you are already down is set late. A card with not a single sentence on a limit did not “forget a detail”. It never prepared the tool.
Once a week the card is worth opening again, even if the hall is familiar. What changes is not the banner but the revision date, the payment line, and whether the permit is still in force. Five minutes of reading is cheaper than a form you cannot pull back with one button.
